The NorthEast Georgia RDC is responsible for serving the public interest of the state by promoting and implementing the comprehensive planning process. The RDC serves a twelve county region with involvement in local and regional planning related to land use, transportation, recreation, historic preservation, natural resources, solid waste, economic development, aging and job training. Through contractural arrangements, the RDC also provides other services such as grant writing and reviewing and commenting on applications for federal assistance.
